About T-Cards by Bad Ballerinas ~ The Company
Wrap Your Words in Our Suns
T-Cards by Bad Ballerinas, created throughout 2014 and 2015, launched its online presence on December 1, 2015. Formed as a New Jersey based LLC, its long range goals include retail partnerships and digital media applications in addition to the online platform which will always be "home".
Tamara Hadley, the owner of T-Cards by Bad Ballerinas, works primarily as the artist & designer of the hundreds of fine greeting cards, notes & gift items. Husband, William DeGregory, and Sister, Deborah Hadley, round out the "Bad Ballerinas Team". All are former Principal Dancers from the Pennsylvania and Pacific Northwest Ballet Companies respectively.
Much more can be read about their backgrounds and the story of how T-Cards by Bad Ballerinas has come to be in the The Bad Ballerinas Team page. Look for it under "Links" at the bottom of the Home Page.
"Wrap Your Words in Our Suns" ~ Our Motto and what it means!
The Sun has been a constant source of inspiration, solace and joy to Tamara. From favorite roles in her performing career to the exquisite garden environment that surrounds her colorful home, the Sun is an integral part of her positive and whimsical outlook on life. All her designs begin with the face of the Sun and take on a life of their own in remarkable ways.
The primary product of T(for "Tamara")-Cards by Bad Ballerinas is the 5 x 7 blank greeting card. As customers are invited to write their own verse and message in our cards, we hope that they enjoy "wrapping their words" in "our suns".
Bad Ballerinas Paper
Our Country and its future are important to us. While still a fledgling company, we are taking steps to contribute what we can to sustain the environment and support the wonderful people who protect it. To that end, we begin by ensuring that all our card, prints and coloring book products are proudly made in the USA.
All T-Cards by Bad Ballerinas cards, prints and coloring books are printed on paper sanctioned by the Forest Stewardship Council and Rainforest Alliance. Their endorsement signifies responsible forest management and conservation practices to aid in the protection and sustainability of our environment.
As we grow, our plans include contributions to Wounded Warriors from the sale of cards that pay homage to our Country and those who serve it; the ASPCA from cards that represent the animals we love; and PTA organizations that support the needs of our young people from the sale of our children's cards and products.
